Employment Opportunities

Applied Computer Techniques is always in search of entry level and experienced computer programmers, network administrators/technicians, engineers, and technical writers.

ACT offers employment in two ways.

1.  We hire select candidates as employees of ACT.  These employees are then introduced to our business customers and placed with these organizations as consultants.  Some consultants remain on our customer's site for extended lengths of time as their Information Technology departments are outsourced.  Other "contracts" are shorter lasting three months to a year.

2.  Many corporations utilize ACT as their human resources department. As they have a personnel need, they look to ACT for the appropriate individual.  ACT then pre-qualifies candidates and forwards their information.  The business customer then interviews and selects their choice to fill the position with their company.

Notice to all applicants:

1.  All applicants are subject to pre employment drug testing.

2.  All applicants are subject to a pre employment criminal background check.

3.  All applicants will be required to provide original documentation regarding education and professional/industry designations.

4.  All applicants must be authorized to work in the United States of America.  The Immigration Reform and Control Act of 1986 requires Applied Computer Techniques, Inc., to verify that each person hired is authorized to work in the United States. At the time of hire, applicants must submit original copies of certain documents for examination.
